After years of working in cybersecurity for several top tech companies, I decided it was time to help others get into cybersecurity.

Recognizing the industry is in a state of flux where there are millions of jobs, but not enough people to fill them; my research lead me to the real problem: EXPERIENCE!

The companies hiring for entry level positions require experience, yet the majority of people applying for these entry level roles have no cybersecurity experience.

To fix this problem, our community and program is designed to give students experience through research and lab projects. We then endorse the experience as a reference for that experience.

While other programs cost tens of thousands of dollars, we sought to create a mini bootcamp over 2 months to provide free courseware online that provide free badges or certifications. This cost efficient solution also distinguishes itself from other bootcamps by giving the students hands-on experience they can cite in their resume. And as a former CISO and Chief Scientist, I'm a personal reference for each student.
